Founder Story
For more than five years, Los Cabos has been our home.
When my husband was diagnosed with cancer, our family entered a moment that many people never expect to face. Like so many others, we were suddenly making life-altering decisions about care, treatment options, and where to turn for support.
Very quickly, we found ourselves immersed in the Mexican healthcare system in a way we had never experienced before — not as visitors, but as patients and family.
What we discovered deeply changed our perspective.
We experienced firsthand the excellence, expertise, and compassion of physicians and specialists here in Mexico. We saw modern facilities, advanced treatment approaches, and highly trained medical professionals delivering care at an exceptional level.
More importantly, we witnessed something that is often overlooked by visitors: Mexico is home to outstanding medical talent and world-class care that many people outside the country simply do not know how to access or navigate.
Our challenge was never finding quality care. It was understanding how to navigate it — who to trust, how to coordinate next steps, and how to bring clarity to an overwhelming process during an already difficult time.

We created Sendero to help bridge the gap between exceptional care in Los Cabos and the patients — both international and domestic — who are seeking trusted guidance in accessing it.
Our role is not to replace physicians or medical providers. Our role is to help people navigate options, connect with carefully selected professionals, and coordinate the journey with clarity, respect, and support.
We hold deep respect for the medical community in Mexico. Sendero exists because we believe this care deserves to be more visible, more accessible, and more easily navigated by those who can benefit from it — whether they are coming from abroad or already living here.
